El Dia de los Muertos


October 31. The Day of the Dead (El dia de los muertos), is a Mexican celebration to remember and prepare special food in honor of those who are gone. streets are filled with decorations, flowers, candy skeletons and parades. 

 Families celebrate  making altars and placing gifts of food such as bread baked in shapes of skulls and a photo of the departed soul on the altar. At the cemetery, music is played and dances are made to honor the spirits, Death is a celebration in Mexico and many other countries.
